The Effort Diner.

At the intersection of Route 115 and Effort-Neola Road, right next to Pohocopo Creek, sits the Effort Diner. Well, it still sits there but that's about all--I just found out that they, too, are out of business, a victim, apparently, of mismanagement as well as the economy.

January, 2007:

Before dinner. "Get that camera outta my face, city boy!"

During dinner, out the window. Love that steaming coffee cup.

After dinner.

I almost never carry a tripod or use a flash so I have to steady the camera on a table, a ledge, or even the floor. Sometimes I'll flip it upside down (so I can see the screen) and butt it up against the wall to take a picture I'll later flip back over in the computer. You never know what you're gonna get.
