The Sunrise Diner.

Or should I say, the late Sunrise Diner, which sat at the base of the Carbon County courthouse in Jim Thorpe for almost sixty years until, in 2008, it was sold, put on a flatbed truck, and moved to Cleveland, where it was to be renovated and "redeployed". We drove up one fall morning --again, sometime prior to my becoming organized with my photos in 2004-- for breakfast.

The Sunrise was purchased by the people who own the brick restaurant behind it, who wanted a deck for outdoor seating.  The courthouse is out of sight to the right, that's our 2000 Accord in the front, and Sandi on the corner.
