Yesterday wasn't too bad (mid-80's), especially compared to the temps we have been having this summer, but there was a thermometer in the porta-potty that was hovering around 900 degrees.
The pie-eating contest. A couple of the kids appeared to have an unfair advantage as they looked like they hadn't passed up a piece of pie in all their natural, albeit short, lives. I had my money on the kid in the Mets shirt but the girl in the gray on the bottom right--the one already wearing her pie-eating game face--took the prize. You can just see Sandi in the top left corner.

It's a Farmer's Fair so of course they have cows.
