We took a hike up the side of a mountain (or, at least, after sitting and eating so much on the Sea Lion, it felt like a mountain) and ended up at a gorgeous alpine lake. There were gigantic logs floating on one end of it from a time when they still harvested lumber up there but were forced to give up the business.
You get up there, still catching your breath. You stand around and go, "Oooohhh". Then you go, "Wow". Then, if you're me, you take forty pictures, and if you're Sandi, you curse Bob and his camera. Then you go back down.
