I'm pretty sure the painting behind me is of the pedestrian bridge that crosses from Portland on the Pennsylvania side to Columbia on the Jersey side, about five miles from the diner.

The Water Gap Diner.
The Water Gap Diner is in Delaware Water Gap, PA, again in the Poconos, right on 611 just before it hits I-80. The Appalachian Trail comes down off of Mt. Minsi and into town about a half mile from the diner, and hikers frequent the place in the summer before heading out along a truly frightening little stretch of cement trail beside I-80.
