Day 4: The Cabot Trail.

As you can see from this map, Cheticamp is a great jumping-off place for exploring the Cabot Trail, the north portion of which passes through Cape Breton Highlands National Park.

We made it as far as Ingonish on the eastern shore, where we stopped at the Atlantic Restaurant. I had a fabulous chicken club sandwich and Miss "I'll Try Anything Once" had the seafood salad bar, enabling her to try steamed mussels for the first--and I assume last--time.
