On Solid Ground.

We lived! Now we can start pondering the flight home next week.

My sister Patty lives in University Place, Washington, kind of a suburb of both Seattle and Tacoma that abuts Puget Sound. We're at her place.

My favorite niece Kenzie and her BF Bubba:


Note 1: I have five favorite nieces, two favorite nephews, two favorite sisters, and a favorite brother.
Note 2: In light of  my age-related braincrampery, I probably shouldn't employ internet acronyms like BF; I probably just called Bubba, a truly nice guy, a BeaverFart.

And here's Coal Porter on the deck. If you haven't guessed, I can't recall the animal's name. Sandi, who after twenty minutes was already scheming to take little Shadow home in her suitcase, would remember, but she's still sleeping off last night's work.

There's a park and trail that circles above and around a championship golf course (Chambers Bay) situated right on Puget Sound. Here we're just starting out on a walk:
