I hadn't seen my cousin Karen, who lives just a couple miles from downtown, for over thirty years! We met her and her husband Hank for lunch:

There's a little park at the upper end of the market that sits above Alaskan Way and overlooks the wharf where fishing boats, the ferries for the islands, and the cruise ships dock. It's a great place for a rest, and for people watching. Here's a people I was watching:
