Queen Anne's Lace in bloom, at Lake Galena again. Also known as wild carrot (daucus carota), it's biennial, so grows one year, flowers the next, then bye-bye. I would like to grow it in my garden, and biennials Teasel (Dipsacus fullonum) and Mullein (Verbascum thapsus) as well, but have enough, with my black thumb, of what I call "perishable" plants without adding any guaranteed-to-die varieties.
