Daffodil, thick with pollen, Joan's garden. Of course you remember from your junior high school biology that the middle thingy is the pistil and the outer thingies are the stamen. We so detested our biology teacher (Mr. Cameron) that late one night we egged his house, marking the first and last time any of us ever bought a dozen eggs. Sandi says we were the kind of "JD" kids she and her goody-two-shoes friends would avoid. Probably wise.
