Greenwich.

Waiting to dock and drive off...

This is the ferry that took us across, and no, NFL isn't an abbreviation for National Football League. It's Northumberland Ferries Limited.

We visited a genuinely wonder-full national park near Saint Peters Bay on the north side of the island, about 40 miles from where the ferry docked on the south side. During the hour-long drive, it went from bright-cloudy to drop-dead gorgeous. From the visitor's center...

and out into Saint Peters Bay:

Off into the park:

Queen Anne's Lace on Prince Edward Island.

The island was actually named for Prince Edward Augustus, (1767-1820), the Duke of Kent, Queen Victoria's father, and not, as I'm sure you assumed, Prince Edward of Wales, the only child of King Richard III and his queen, Anne Neville. The origins of the name of the plant are more obscure.
