We live about ten crow-fly miles from the Delaware River and are often along it, over it, eating next to it, or exploring its tributaries. The Delaware State Canal Park (link) runs along it from Easton (45 minutes north of Doylestown) all the way to Bristol, a distance of about 60 miles.
Shortly after it begins it passes through the gateway to Easton, where the Lehigh River empties into the Delaware over a simple dam. Next to the dam, underneath railroad bridges, across the Lehigh from Larry Holmes Boulevard and the Delaware from Philipsburg, NJ, and adjacent to the fish ladders and antique canal locks, are the porta-potties.
These were taken maybe ten years apart; you can tell the first one is film. I think the middle picture, of Sandi running back to the car in the rain, is my favorite of all the potty-pix.
