We had the first upper deck cabin right behind the bridge on the port side. For you landlubbers, that would be the left side as you face forward. You spend so much time on board you could actually start to get a little goofy (if you weren't already).
We were out for about twelve days and my recollection is that we got to get off in some way, shape, or form about once a day on average, to kayak, hike, or visit an Alaskan town. More on all three as we go.
