From these pix you would guess we were always getting off and on the boat, but I'd estimate we were on the Sea Lion 80% of the time or more. But you can only take so many pictures of people with binoculars or cameras stuck to their faces.
Here we are in Sitka, Alaska, the fifth biggest "city" in Alaska (population: 8,881). We're taking a bus to an Avian Reclamation Center where, as you might guess, they attempt to rehabilitate birds that have become addicted to alcohol or drugs, or have been remanded by the courts for antisocial behavior, i.e., they just can't seem to get along with the other birds.
