Bird Feeder.

We love to walk through the dunes and around the ponds and swamps on the Beech Forest Trail at Province Lands in the National Seashore. In '05 we were walking along and noticed that the little birds, chiefly Chickadees, were flitting around, landing on branches near us, and acting inordinately interested. We finally guessed that people had been feeding them and, of course, Sandi, our chief animal lover, vowed to try it next time we came up. She wouldn't let me take her picture next to the "Please Don't Feed the Birds" sign.
